CP Players are unofficially picking Yak's Bend as our homeserver and maybe eventually setting up our own guild.

Bought the CE this am and dinked around for few hours during today's stress test.

Couldnt get on the Yaks server, it was full. Hope that doesn't mean I have to do paid realm transfer... I assume not since its just beta.

Played a norn warrior.

Definately a change from WoW. Trying to break my WoW habit, hope this will help me avoid the xpac.

You will get to choose a new server when the game launches. In the first few weeks they are going to leave server transferes open until population settles down.

Also, you are right in your post, I am Falx on there. I told Tristan that it was me you where looking for~

Guesting will be disabled on launch. This feature will be implemented later, just not at launch

Aight, I just bought the Digital Deluxe Edition as well. Whoever posted that video of those 4 nerds talking about the game for 2 hours, you're the reason I got this game.

Anyone have a good source for primers? Would like to have a better understanding of game mechanics, builds, etc.

GW2 supports 3 monitors @ a 5760x1080 resolution. I have a massive hard on.

what setup?

With the newest drivers/engine changes I am not even keeping a steady 60 in heavy traffic areas, (WvW with LOTS of physics and stuff going on) and thats with the newest 6 core oced @ 4.8ghz and a single gtx 670 oced.

At that resolution you better be at the very least dual graphics or more :P

After playing a bit yesterday. Once the game goes live for prepurchasers, does that mean we also get a headstart on server choiceor all the people in beta retain those spots? Might be my only chance to get into yaks bend.
