Electronics Texting issue

We have a pager type setup with work that the system will send an email text to your phone number to alert you to any problems that need addressed. Because it is actually an email it also attaches a huge dislaimer to the text which causes me to receiver 5 texts instead of just 1 text. Is there any way to make it ignore the other 4 texts or is this just the way it has to be?

If it's an email to text, then no. Unless it's an attachment, then your SMS agent might have an option to NOT download attachments, headers, etc. Perhaps there is an option not to break up extended texts.

Besides, the disclaimer is there for a reason.

Yeah, I understand that need for the disclaimer its just annoying there isn't a better way to get "paged" for issues when on call.

What I would really like is to find a way for that page to always come through while I mute everything else on my phone. Unfortunately AT&T has this stupid process of assigning a different phone number to each individual text so I can't assign it its own profile to bypass my phones mute settings.

Oh cool, finally found a fix. I'm a airvoice wireless customer but on the ATT network. Evidently you can register your phone number, even if you are not on a ATT plan, to control how many segments a large text will be broken down to.
