Fallout 4?

Stolen from reddit.....

Quote:
Bethesda just registered http://thesurvivor2299.com/.

The website is a black screen with some morse code playing. The code is 11.12.13, which fans are speculating to be the reveal date of Fallout 4. Also, the year 2299 is close to the date of the last Fallout game, New Vegas.
So, we can pretty much say that it's happening, right?

EDIT: Credit goes for ButcherDX and the rest of the community on r/Fallout.

UPDATE: Countdown just appeared, it ends in 26 days.

Im playing on 360.

In its original release, Fallout 3 ended after activating the water purifier, and you had to either load a previous save, or start again.

It was not until the release of the "Broken Steel" DLC that altered the ending, that you could continue after the main story.

Fallout New Vegas remains the same. If you begin the battle for Hoover Dam, that character ends at the end of that quest, no matter how many of the DLC you have installed.

You may be right on both accounts. I admittedly bought Fallout 3 after Broken Steel.

With New Vegas, though, I could have swore I beat the final mission before playing any DLC's and didn't have to go back to a previous save. My menory might be failing me, though.

It definitely ends after the Hoover Dam mission.

The collector's edition comes with an honest to god real life Pip Boy, that can hold your smart phone, with a Pip Boy app, that you can use to control your in-game menu! You don't need the Pip Boy to use the app.

And...sold out

Yuck. Looks linear, crit death animations, that Deathclaw fight, skills replaced with perks, and that rifle was odd. And this is right after you leave the vault? He takes A LOT of damage. I saw a lot of New Vegas sets in there too. As of now, I think they ****ed it up.

I wish I could like the Fallout games but I just can't stand the RPG aspect of it.

Looks like they turned power armor from actual armor you can wear to like a vehicle thing.

I don't like the HUD on it. Looks crappy. I don't like the voice acting for the main character either.

The dog getting special kill animations, I am cool with.

Right now I am cautiously optimistic but will wait for reviews. Cyberpunk and Metro 3 might be better games. Looks like they tried to make it more action oriented.
