Actually, it broke free from the stereotype because the girl won the race.

I just watched it again, and have a few observations.

1. Speaking of diversity, all of those women and not a single redhead? For shame.

2. They didn't have enough shots of them eating popsicles.

3. In a world where everyone is blonde, a brunette is queen.

4. What kind of girl would watch this video and think, "Wow, I want to be a part of that"? It's a bunch of attractive women, but there wasn't any substantive activity in the entire thing. I think these people need some market research.

So you admit that race is involved.

Recruitment is where girls get the substance of what the chapters are all about. They do cutesy skits about philanthropy and sisterhood, have tearjerking testimonials of sisterhood and outline their themed and formal dances.

Doubtful. Hit a girl too hard and you'll wind up before the standards board for hazing.

To this day, my wife won't tell me about the secret ceremonies they had in her sorority in college. She told me that there were secret ceremonies, but I don't know what they are.

Maybe I'm better off that way, though. The truth couldn't possibly match my imagination.

That's good she won't tell you. A wasted Zeta told my dad about what the five points of their crown symbolically meant be forgot.

Ritual was one of the big reasons I joined... seeing as I didn't drink at that pont so parties weren't obviously an important thing.
