Reid said just the other day that they weren’t running plays that they were preparing to use in the regular season. It was vanilla.

Also, Reid can’t press a button like Madden and tell the QB where to throw all the time.

I know it is only the first preseason game but one thing is certain: A crappy Oline will destroy a young QB rather quickly. This oline better reinvent its game quickly or MaHomes will be killed ala David Carr

Yes, because he adjusts his playcalling to fit his players. His offense with with Alex was different than his offense with McNabb and certainly different than his offense with Vick.

Reid won't let that happen. He'll just call a bunch of screens, quick hitters, and rushing plays to get the players in a rhythm and take the pressure off of the OL in pass-pro.

It's the pre-season dude, and the first game at that. Things are going to be kept simple and easy, especially for a very young QB.

It will be for sure, but it will still likely be centered around the idea of stretching the field horizontally and getting his speedy playmakers in space. I don't think that's ever really changed.
