Chiefs trade (Arenas) for...wait for it...a FB?
Chiefs acquired FB Anthony Sherman from the Chiefs...er Cardinals.
New Cards head coach Bruce Arians has no room for plodding fullbacks in his aggressive, vertical offense. So Sherman heads to Andy Reid's West Coast scheme as Jamaal Charles' lead blocker. The 2011 fifth-rounder graded out 20th among 25 qualifying fullbacks in Pro Football Focus' rankings last season. May 1 - 12:11 PM

This is incorrect. Smith's salary is garuanteed. The 9ers would have still been on the hook for it if they cut him.

JFC, dude. Arenas is horrible. He was not going to make the roster. Who would you have suggested we trade him for? This is obviously 2 teams that have shit players looking to unload them. We need camp fodder. They need depth as well. They swap players. Period. Equate it to the Guthrie for Sanchez trade. Two players that neither team want, so they agree to swap.

There is nothing to justify. Arenas is a bad player. This guy is probably a bad player too. Who ****ing cares?
