Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.
And if all that isn't enough to get you hyped, have a first look at the game's just-revealed logo as well:

Eliminate target bounties. 3 confirmed so far (Skywatch, Forgotten Shores and Citadel) with one more rumored to be live, but I haven't seen any actual conformation.

Each target eliminated completes a bounty and gives you a minute and a half buff key that let's you open a chest that spawns nearby.

Also hearing that legendaries aren't being recognized by the cryptarch until Tuesday when PoE officially drops. Not sure if that's all legendaries, or just PoE ones dropping from the new chests. Also hearing some reports that blues aren't being recognized either and that it's because they're going to decrypt at the PoE levels, again that's unconfirmed.

At least there's something new to do...

I picked up all four right at the start. Have only done two so far, the two earth ones.

AFAIK none of the engrams dropping from these event chests are good until HoW goes live on Tuesday.

I can't imagine this won't get patched in some way, everybody can just load up on engrams right now.

The one on Forgotten Shores was a little tough. Couldn't finish it with just me and a level 28 trying. When there were more guys it wasn't an issue. There were a bunch of people around the second time and in Skywatch.

I solo'd the Ember Caves one. Couple of deaths during the waves, but the captain wasn't as tough as the dudes on Earth.

Here's a tip: if you find the chest fast enough, you can leave the area until the adjoining area splash announces you're someplace else, then double back and hit the chest a second time. I got more mats, 3 more rares, and another legendary on the second go at the Ember Caves.

Get that while it lasts, I'm sure it'll patch soon.

I earned a Passage Coin by completing the daily Crucible event. Not sure if that's the reward for completing the daily event or just a fluke.
