The Official Free Agency Repository Thread

We've done this in years past, and it was super helpful to anybody who didn't want to have to dig through dozens of pages.

We all know the drill here: whenever there is a free agency move, post it in this thread. I will update it here in the OP (along with the aid of any mods who want to help) to help establish one-stop shopping for all your football update needs.

Any and all updates are welcome. The more updates you clog this thread with, the more up-to-date and super-easy-to-follow this thread will be.

If a mod wants to sticky this, I'm cool with that:

This is bullshit, right?

And can somebody summarize where we stand on Sean Smith?

I actually hope it's Aqib Talib on a 3 year deal. It's short enough not to be debilitating if he does something stupid again, but gives us incredible talent in the secondary.

Based off of his past record as GM, he sure does like to keep things quiet. That's why we've known about each and every move before it's been made thus far...

sounds to me that Sean Smith's agent has a couple teams in a bidding war and is driving up the price as much as he can. fairly simple. whoever wants him is going to have to overpay. that's the sad reality.

True but as the market is showing it will not even be close to what he originally wanted. His agent may be trying to pit multiple teams against each other but will it work? His agent can only do so much with leverage until teams start bringing in other CB's for visits (which some teams are doing now).

There will be a point very soon, if not already that Smith and his agent just have to realize the big money isn't coming his way this year. To many other quality CB's out there for teams to sign. In the end if he waits to long, he will be stuck taking a lot less and re-signing with the Dolphins.
