Play Calling and Audibles?
Last night they showed the length of wording on one of the offensive play calls. Christ! The thing was just a couple of chapters short of qualifying for being a novel!

Why does this have to be so difficult? Why couldn't it just be as simple as something like "Blue 33" ?

Then when you get to the line, and see the play is screwed, you might have time to audible into something that might work, and not require all the players to have a degree in quantum physics to know what is going on.

Well, it's still not as bad as Haley's ideas to revolutionize the game. You know, like running a training camp without tackling and having the OC call the play down to the QB coach who then calls it into the QB. He really insisted the play take twice as long to call.
