Right after the incident, I remember his legal team that released public statements after the incident hardly sounded remorseful at all... most of his statements were more along the lines of, "I'm sorry you feel offended by my actions. I was just raising my kid the way I was taught by my own family and community. I guess I'll follow your rules, though."

From this quote here, he still doesn't ****ing get it. He still thinks it's bad for people to call him a piece of flaming shit for what he did, as if it's a "None of your damn business" kind of situation. He clearly hasn't reckoned that just because that was the way he was raised doesn't mean people aren't within their right to chastise him.

When Jared Allen was racking up DUIs and had his come to Jesus moment, he UNDERSTOOD the perspective of NFL teams and their fans, and publicly said (paraphrasing), "I know it will take time, but I have it within me to change my habits and prove to people that this stuff is over." He knew that he couldn't just expect people to forgive him instantly given the nature of his crime. Adrian Peterson is not only incapable of seeing the situation from our perspective, but he has the audacity to come out and say, "This is how you treat me when I'm down and out?"

No, that's how we treat people who shove leaves in a kid's mouth and hit him with a switch on his ****ing scrotum. Did you not figure it out that what you did was really really bad?

Ad's grandparents raised a talented kid..who stayed out of trouble.made millions then..got in trouble for discipline he would have received. .. its only an issue because he is who he is... champion your righteous sevles for the kids who get worse with less famous dads

I don't know how many kids he's got, but so far one of them is dead because AP ****ed whatever he wanted and then let the mother hook up with a psychopath boyfriend. And another has switch scars on his scrotum and twig cuts in his mouth.

Like I said, he's a huge piece of shit, and if I had a gambling addiction like Hootie does, I'd bet lots of my money on his kids turning out to be just as ****ed up as AP is
