Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

I've owned the director's cut Superbit version of Das Boot for almost six years, and I finally pulled the plastic off and put it in the DVD player. I'm excited for this.

That award absolutely belongs to Bale. He's unreal. It might also be my vote for best picture. I haven't completely decided yet.

"Get Low" was really good. Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, Sissy Spacek.... it couldn't help but be good.

Just watched "RED". Its amazing how you can take a silly premise, fill it with very talented actors and come away with a very enjoyable popcorn movie.

Yeah dude. I really liked it. I thought it was going to try to be serious. It wasn't, and that was OUTSTANDING. They took the action seriously in that it was well done, but the story was fun and enjoyable. Very much exceeded my (misguided) expectations.
