Jamaal Charles as trade bait?

Since Reid is a pass-happy kind of HC, and the old saying is that RBs are a dime a dozen, and (pasted from WIKI) He is currently the NFL's all-time leader in yards-per-carry average among running backs with 5.82 YPC.

His trade value will never be higher than right now, and the draft picks we'd get could go a long way toward rebuilding the O Line to protect GENO!!!

What ya think?

We should probably unload Berry too while his value is highest. He could blow out a knee at any time.

I think you are a moron. Our Oline does not need rebuilding. Since RB's are dime a dozen Charles' value would be diminished.
No just No. I still think you are a moron though.

Yep.

I said it earlier in this same thread.

If you have 5 darts instead of 3 it's easier to make sure you hit a balloon. Myself, I'd prefer to just make good throws and hit 2 or 3 balloons with the 3 darts.

Probably, but I how many other positions are more important?

IF we get a QB that is the one, Charle's production will probably go down. Our other weapons will get the ball more, which is a great thing.

Since we have him, let's keep him, but Chiefs fans are idiots when it comes to the importance of RB. We have had a top 2-3 RB for 10 years and have won jack shit.

Jamaal is clearly and above average RB, but he's also been in the game a lot longer than 2.5 years, with a major knee reconstruction to boot. The Chiefs are in a(nother) rebuilding phase, and while Andy Reid has the necessary weight, he probably doesn't have the knees or speed to suit up himself. That means he needs players. When rebuilding, it's not uncommon to give up proven - yet aging - players to fill positions of need. I'd bet there are a lot of teams who feel they are just a RB away from a title. The Chiefs are 2-3 years away from competing for an AFC Championship, what will Charles have to offer in 2-3 years?

Sure Charles is a fan fave, I get that. Sometimes you have to sacrifice a rook to capture a queen.

Priest Holmes wasn't great in Baltimore, but was outstanding behind Shields, Roaf, and Waters. A great O Line can protect a QB and make a great RB out of an average RB.

OOOoooohhhh, spoooky, my rep color thingys have changed colors, I'd better amend my thoughts to conform to the masses PRONTO!!!
Dumbass is strong with this one.
We are not in a rebuilding mode or phase. We do not need to rebuild. We do need a player or 2 but that is far from rebuilding.
Our Oline needs someone to take Liljas spot. Oh wait we already did that. So we need depth only across the Oline.
A good QB does not need a great line to be successful. Most of the better QB's, Manning, Brady, Brees and so on all make thier mediocre at best OLines look a lot better than they really are.
We don't need to give up anything to capture the Queen. We have the 1st pick in the draft.

It's almost like idiots here think Reid doesn't know what to do with a running back.

He knew how to use and get the most out of Brian Westbrook. Hell-****ing-lo?
