This was not on the refs

Bob Sutton. Andy Reid.

These are the people who can cost us the playoffs.

Yep. I've seen it too many times... and not just Chiefs games. This happens in MANY NFL games weekly.

The Pass Interference penalty is the most subjective way to manipulate a game with extreme punishments, and until you can challenge the call... the NFL will just continue to be an alternative to the WWE.

We finally, finally have a franchise QB and have lost only to elite teams this year. This is the most fun I've ever had watching the Chiefs.

We may lose in the playoffs this year. No, not due to some NFL grand conspiracy (as if the NFL wouldn't want it's most marketable star in their biggest game of the year), but because the D is refried ass.

But you know what? Unlike Chiefs teams of the past, that isn't a death sentence for the next 5 years. The Chiefs have a star in the game's most important position - and while he's healthy, we always have a shot to breakthrough.

Agree, the #2 thing that amazes me is how anyone who watches this defense play thinks we had/have a good shot at the Super Bowl.

We do have a good shot at the Superbowl if Andy lets Pat do his thing.

That's the thing, this defense is terrible by itself. Teams don't need more help from the refs by not calling clear as fuking day offensive pass interference's.

I hope Chiefs fans brigade the Chiefs twitter for the next week demanding Sutton be fired or stripped of his duties. If I were a STH I would call and complain about him as well and how keeping him would probably cost them your money.

This is my thinking. Reid needs to give Pat the Brady treatment. He's not like every QB, keep the playbook open at all times. Don't let off the pedal and put some fuking teams away. Stop playing so conservative!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think KC totally has a shot, the unfortunate task for the offense is that they have to "be on" the entire game. They can't start out fast and end slow, like they have more often than not in the last 4 games.

This team is very much like the Manning Colts... office has to produce crazy points, 40 PPG minimum goal.

14 point lead late should be good, but 8 minutes is a long time.

KC's defense gave up 11 and 8 play drives, covering 60 and 70+ yards each... during that same time, KC's offense ran 5 plays - 4 really considering the final was end of game.

It wasn't on the officials for the simple reason the were god awful for both teams. Some of the holding calls on the Chargers were questionable at best. The DPI at the end of the game was stupid and not a penalty. The holding on Sorensen was the same as well. It wasn't holding. The officials were awful awful awful awful as they have been all year. This is not a new development.

I dunno. Here's a replay of the Sorensen called penalty. See if you see contact.

You can't convince me that that was anything other than a call to keep the game competitive on a Thursday night.

We should be undefeated vs the AFC and have played all the contenders. Why wouldn't they have a shot to get there?
