Chiefs trade (Arenas) for...wait for it...a FB?

Chiefs acquired FB Anthony Sherman from the Chiefs...er Cardinals.
New Cards head coach Bruce Arians has no room for plodding fullbacks in his aggressive, vertical offense. So Sherman heads to Andy Reid's West Coast scheme as Jamaal Charles' lead blocker. The 2011 fifth-rounder graded out 20th among 25 qualifying fullbacks in Pro Football Focus' rankings last season. May 1 - 12:11 PM

WTF?

Jesus never would have thought people would be up in arms over arenas. He doesn't fit what they want and isn't all that good

Not bad, top to bottom.

If there's a ray of sunshine in this ****ing storm, it's that.
Why are you just a homer all the time?

Sean Smith and Dunta Robinson, if they continue to suck as they did the last two years....make that a big sack o crap.

Not because he's actually any ****ing good. There is now no competition to Dunta Robinson and he is guaranteed to see the field on Sundays. Meaning he will be beat like a drum and when this place blows up with threads calling for his head, THERE WONT BE ANYONE LEFT TO ****ING REPLACE HIM ON THE ROSTER.

So we are stuck sinking or swimming on the hope chance Dunta Robinson has a good year lol
Arenas wasn't bad, but, IMO, way too short. There are better options out there! But, I agree, I didn't think we needed another Fullback, after surpisingly drafting one!

Its far less about losing Arenas and more about another reeruned Dorsey trade, at least for me.

Sean Smith and Dunta Robinson were part of horrible secondaries last year.....but now they form the nucleus of a top 10 secondary...

OK.

Our secondary last year gave up 220 pass yards/game by that, it made us the 12th best secondary against the pass

then we plucked not one but two CBs from two of the shittiest secondaries in the league last year that both gave up almost 250 yards per game.

so essentially trading javier and netting dunta and sean smith, on paper you might as well just add 30 more yards to our 220 average, cause they arent going to get better in one offseason

Don't really give 2 shits or a **** about Arenas. **** him, he was borderline serviceable. Brown has more untapped talent than Arenas' slow ****ing ass.

Sean Smith was put on an island with other teams #1 options last year, and Dunta is still a very formidable Nickel/Safety. I know they aren't ideal, but the starting trio (4 if they put Dunta back with Berry) that KC will be putting out there would be among the better in the league.

When you're already beating the Chiefs by two or more possessions, you can just continuously run the ball and wait for the game to end.
