Dangit. I called the hotline, they said I have to send it in for work. First one died due to RROD, this is my 2nd. Fortunately, its still covered by the warranty.
What a horrible product. But I still love it.

They shouldnt break like that, but one should be able to handle no gaming for a week and a half. Then again, i got a ps3 for back ups. lol

Does a warranty really matter? I mean I am pretty sure mine expired. I just called up Microsoft - got some verification numbers and whatnot. My disc drive failed - I sent it to Microsoft and got it fixed. So, do warranties really matter?

The good news is they have a lot of practice dealing with these issue so their service is typically top notch
I have seriously been considering reporting a failure so I can get a new 360. I've had this one for quite a while now; about time for it to go tits-up. "Pre-emptive service replacement"

Lol. I had no problem doing without the 360 during the 2 different times that I had to send it in for repairs. My 12 year old, however, was jonesing for a fix.
