Can't believe Collie is available. I would pick him up ASAP. Luck's favorite target so far and was healthy all of last season.
I also like Brown too. I think he will be the WR to own in SD instead of Meachem. WR is soooooo deep this year. It's crazy. |

I'm not sure who you dropped for Kendall Wright....but hopefully it was McCluster. Find the team that has the worst QB roster or depth (or whichever team has Andrew Luck). Offer him Tebow and Fleener for a RB. Drop Taiwan Jones and pick up Shane Vereen. If you have an open spot....pick up either Austin Collie or Brandon LaFell. Since it's non-ppr....you're looking for RBs that are going to get TDs. Realistically you only need 3 QBs because you're going to usually start Newton and RGIII. You need Cutler for the bye weeks.....and Tebow isn't good enough for an every week start over the other QBs on your roster. |

Team win?!?!?! LOL
That's the worst scoring rule I have ever seen. It pretty much defeats the purpose of fantasy football. |

yep kind of dumb since I have like 1 player on a team that will consistently win and then a bunch of guys that will be on losing teams or sub .500 squads. So I'm screwed there

Because fantasy football is a stats driven game. You draft individual players based on whether you believe they will put up good stats.
The quality of a player's team should have no impact on the outcome of a fantasy football game. And they give 5 points for it??? The same as a passing td??? Garbage. |

yep, which is why i needed/asked for help. I made the mistake of joining the league and now just want to try and field a competitive team/not be embarrassed by weirdos that run some crazy scoring league and get my balls busted for it since they are all real life peers.
(i know, get new/smarter friends.) Also I did just do everything mentioned, there is no waiver wait, but there is only 15 transactions allowed per season, just used 3 of them on Kendall Wright, Shane Vereen and Austin Collie. Now my team is QB - Newton, RG3, Cutler, Tebow RB - BJGE, Helu, Vereen, McCluster WR - VJax, Garcon, DHB, Baldwin, Collie, Kendall Wright TE - Gronk, Vern Davis DEF - Chiefs i still need to swing a trade or two. But he gives you a deep bench so I can stash depth and hope for the best. |

should I entertain the idea of trading both Gronk and Vernon Davis? |

I would start Cutler over RG3 now since I learned of the team win rule. Might have even started him over RG3 anyway but now it's a certainty imo. Bears are sick and the Skins will be awful.
Try to use the rule to your advantage. It's an extra td a week. I would think of trading Newton for someone like Ben and maybe a running back that you desperately need. It's a drop off but with the Steelers being a great team and panthers being mediocre, how much is it really? And if you can add a RB on top of that? No brainer imo. Or maybe Newton and another player for Brady? The Pats schedule is a joke this year once again. Just throwing ideas out really would need to see other rosters to have more realistic proposals. The other bonuses are minor and won't happen as much but 5 points is a lot and there's a good chance that it can be rewarded each week for each player. It probably will effect the outcomes of games each week. You have to account for that one and get some players on great teams. Gronk is a good start. |
