Definitely. If you go down the outside steps next to the plaza (west of the Starbucks), it's the first food court place on your right when you go through the revolving door. It doesn't look like much, but it's a winner.
I didn't know you were downtown. Any secret places that you know about that have great food?

Speaking of burgers in the Madison, WI area. They brew pretty decent beer at the Great Dane too, I'd hit up the Downtown location personally. THE GREAT DANE’S BRAT & BACON PRETZEL BURGER A one-third pound U.S.D.A. choice ground beef* patty and a one-quarter pound bratwurst* patty grilled with caramelized onions and topped with Applewood smoked bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickles and tomato. Served on a pretzel roll with a side of Peck’s Pilsner mustard.

KC really needs In and Out, Whataburger and Jack in the Box. As far as Firehouse subs go, I gave it an honest 2 tries a couple of months ago and it's just not my thing. Honestly, I feel like Quizno's is better than that place. PlanetSub is till the very best, though.
Hey, Keg, you ever try the Philly Cheese Steak from PepperJax (135th and Metcalf, same plaza as Jimmy John's)? I'm addicted to those damn things.

I think part of what makes those places good is that they are "regional". If there was one on every street corner, they would be McDonalds.
Freddys is another good burger place down here in Texas...not sure about up north? I also like Braums Burgers in Oklahoma and Kansas. Oh...and Hi-Boy in Independence when im in KC area. 5 Guys is ok...love the overflowing bag of Fries. |

In & Out will likely never come here. Whataburger is close enough that they might; I know they have some near Manhattan KS. I've heard they are building a Jack in the Box in KCK, and will expand into other metro areas soon.
