the appeal for me is simple
every Madden since 2004 my two best friends and I will randomly select a team and set the team for 'fantasy draft' and we each take turns drafting our favorite players or what have you (I'm the QB and SS so this year I took Russell Wilson and Eric Berry for example) and we play teammate Madden. It's probably the most fun I have playing the game...my friend and I have mastered safety play SIMPLY due to teammate Madden. It's more fun playing on the same team as opposed to playing against one another...I'm so much better than them because of all the online play I've done in the past it's just not fair. This year when we went to set it up we noticed they got rid of it...a staple in Madden for years and years and years...and we were pissed. I mean, we just manually had to trade for our players but it was still pretty ****ing gay. We used to love those drafts and we'd load up on all of the young talent because it was pretty glitchy but STILL...it was part of what I did with the game every year. |

I'll give you that.
When I first got the game, I started a franchise with the Chiefs as I always do. I REALLY wanted RGIII, so I offered the Skins like 2 1st rounders AND Dwayne Bowe (as well as a shit ton of other attempts using anyone from Hali, DJ, and Bowe to draft picks) and they WOULD NOT BUDGE. I was pissed; so I tried to go do the fantasy draft with the intention of taking him. Of course it wasn't there, but it didn't bother me that much. I just simulated the first season (to avoid playing with the abominations we call QBs) and drafted a QB with the first pick. I actually prefer homegrown players anyway. I feel like I have more emotion vested in them.. |

I loath baseball, so MLB is out of the question for me. Anyone truly enjoy NCAA13 or should I just bite the bullet and stick with Madden?

Also... this menu is reminicent of Windows Vista. I have to do 83 button pushes to get to my game screen and confirmations galore.
Quick save? HA! A "quick save" takes 8 button pushes as well. |

On kick returns.
Me: Setting up for a kick return and have 4 blockers in front of me. A single gunner gets past each one of those blockers who don't even make an attempt to give me some room. Result? FUMBLE. Computer: Oh, I was supposed to block for you? My bad bro. Next time... I swear. /****ing RRRRAAAAAGGGGGEEEEE |
