Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

My nephews (12 & 13) have a S&W Performance Center MP 22. It is a badass rifle, and cheap to shoot.
I can't imagine spending 600 on a .22, but it's nice. I was within a **** hair of buying a Sig 522 at a gun show for $450. |

Let's put it this way, I also currently work deep behind enemy lines. Now for me the 22LR is an exception that prevents some of the annoying bits from coming into play. So I have a couple of 22LR training rifles because they are actually less hassle to shoot and I can shoot them at most if not all indoor ranges, because it's not a high powered rifle caliber.

I used to have a 100rd drum for it, but that thing is a complete POS. I checked it and went back to the stick mags. BTW, the mag clamps don't work well for these plastic mags either; they lock too tight, keeping the spring from pushing up the rounds.

Bought two Del-ton AR 15s and a Glock .45 just before prices skyrocketed. Now working to increase ammo.

...I stocked up on federal bulk pack 22LR when there was a risk that internet sales would be banned locally. I probably have 40K rounds 'cause it was so cheap. I like keeping it but crazy pricing on GB is making me think of selling some of it. I could double or triple my money.....ahhh the panic...the moral thing is not to feed it!

Took the new Bersa BP9cc out for a 200rd spin today. HO-LEE-SHIT. I cannot give this thing enough praise. Fired like a champ with only a single FTE through break in. The recoil is hardly noticeable and it is very accurate.
The trigger pull is butter. 3-4lb at most with a snappy reset. It feels great in the holster and even better in the hand. If you are considering what to buy for a CC... look at the Bersa BP9cc. |

So I have a shipment of 30 round pmags on backorder from about a month ago. I'm wondering what the status of that order will be once Obama circumvents the constitution and signs executive orders banning high capacity magazines. Does anyone have any info on that? Will people who already ordered magazines still be able to receive them?
