Yeah, at this point, since our bats seem dead, we might as well let Gut pitch the whole game.

He's the #5 pitcher that we are asking to be something he's not. This is the sort of outing you are going to get from JGuts every 3rd start or so.

Yep. He is the same guy that he has been the last 2 years before this one. He is a #5 starter that happens to be one of 2 healthy starting pitchers currently on the team. Nothing has changed about him. This game is on the offense, you simply cannot count Guthrie to hold the opposition scoreless because your offense strands 5 baserunners in the first two innings, many with >1 out.
