This sucks because I like both of you. I will say in your defense that I am pretty sure I have several viewpoints that you do not agree with including our chosen teams lol When we have a disagree we give a cyber nod and move on. You have a reputation for rants and rather I agree with them or not I enjoy reading them. My son and I met with Phil one time before my son went to war. He did not say much but listened to him. It has come up in conversation a couple times between us and my son still uses the words he spoke that day in his life. I will not go into more detail other than I respect Phil. I have met one of you in person and have talked to both of you here for over a decade. I like both of you and it sucks it has come to this. I have met with and been to stevierays house. I consider him a friend. He is has a place to land if he is ever near the Crystal Coast. Steve and I disagree on things but it does not break the bond of friendship~

Point taken. Maybe if I met him I would feel different. The main issue I have with him is he is the most disingenuous person I have encountered on here. But I have not met him in person maybe he is different in person. Once again your point is noted and I consider you my friend~

That is noted also however it doesn't change how he has acted on here. He and I at one time got along. You own the site and maybe you have or have not noticed I do not make a habit out of picking fights. I am damn sure guilty of getting into some but if I do it is for a reason~

I refuse to vote in these silly threads but will make one observation.

It's one thing to argue politics anomalously on an internet web site and quite another to do it in person. In the latter I doubt most of the silly posturing and name calling would occur. Argue a point and be done with it.

Did I say you were lying? I don't think so.

It's clear to me that the value you placed on our friendship was minimal. That's the only thing that really hurt. I'd have done anything for you in my power aside from jeopardizing my own integrity... Sorry I'm not willing to do that for you. We saw it different ways. You saw it from an emotionally involved standpoint, which makes your view incredibly skewed. I saw it objectively as I'm expected to do. Sorry you took that personally. You made your choices.

It's better this way. Good to know the value of your friendships in advance, before something real happens. I love it when people do this. I mean, there's a momentary feeling of rejection that is painful but then it's quickly followed by relief. I'm good. I'll live.
