What era do Democrats look back to as the "Golden Age"?

Yes, and they want another one, so they can get their hooks into everything again.

Props to a commentator over at Human Events for inspiration.

My bad; I guess you're right.

Clinton WAS the worst President since Carter, what with the womanizing, coke dealing-and-sniffing, killing people and covering it up, NAFTA, WhiteWater, Affirmative Action, etc.

****, Bill Clinton probably set us back 20 years on his own...we weren't even able to recover before another one got elected President.

Hot damn, I never realized it before you said it...not only is every Democrat President the worst President since Carter, but logically, each Democrat President has been worse than the one that came before it!

Wait a minute, I think we're on to something here...

Yes. Yes we are!

When Roosevelt kept the depression going with centralized programs to consolidate a voting base that would keep the commies in power indefinitely.

LBJ expanded the base in the 60's.

Both scumbags started a war or prolonged a war to forward their communist agenda, corruption and abrogation of our Constitution.

Roosevelt let the Japanese hammer Pearl Harbor to get us in the war, because if we stayed out for just one more year, the Mother Russia would have had to fight a war on two fronts with the Japanese and Germans and would have went down faster than France.

Obama can never forgive the US or Ronald Reagan or the Catholic Church for helping defeat mother Russia.

I haven't read this thread and I understand it just a jab at Democrats but MY answers are

End of Depression and the Execution of WW 2 going through to the desegregation of the military which leads to the second period from the ending of Kennedy to well into Johnson's time with the Civil Rights Laws and the thrust of the NASA quest for the Moon.

That's too long a period. End of Depression is not their right to claim because there were massive cuts in government spending. That would not be a Golden Era for today's Democrats to look fondly back on.
