Battleground Texas. Effort to turn Texas blue

The guy credited with a major part of Obama's reelection takes aim at Texas.

http://www.battlegroundtexas.com/content/home

Basic strategy. Old school, register and get them to the polls.

38 million Latinos in Texas. Only 4 million voted in the last election.

Is this the guy who was behind more voters than registrations?

Only 4 million, so they either didn't like the choices, they're lazy or apathetic. They should get off their arses and vote on their own. Wonder what perks they're gonna be paid. This reminds me of how FDR got relected. He made sure handouts went to groups provide they voted democrat. It's the leftists' way.

It will be somewhat funny to watch the GOP stumble all over themselves to go get these voters. They'll have to become as pro-welfare as it takes to do it. The national GOP will start to resemble the party in LA or NYC.

They need to educate them in way that will benefit them. That freedom and free-markets is their best chance for a better life. Use the country they came from as a comparison, since it's socialist. Ask them are they better off there under that or here with the opportunities remaining intact. Ron Paul is out there going to campuses to educate. That's what it's going to take.

Register them and get them to the polls, the less informed the better. Just tell them the left will make all their dreams come true and the big ole government will take care of them crib to grave

Excellent point. The GOP could and should point out, that Texas has a R governor and is doing better than Cali. Do they really want that?

Two guys show up.

One has a history book in his hand.

The other guy has a wad of cash and food stamps in his hand.

Guess who wins.

So a law needs to be passed in Texas making that bribery and illegal. Cancels out the vote of the voter. That's cheating.

Not going to happen. This state is firmly in the hands of far right wing knuckle draggers as well as religious facists. It's not a coincidence that Texas is at or near the bottom in education every year.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The amount of money this would require would be staggering and ultimately a complete waste. Pipe dream.

regardless of this effort. Everyone expects Texas to at least be in play for turning purple by 2020. If the Latino vote remains at a 70/30 split, the demographics are undeniable.

According to the link it says:

Quote:
A new group aiming to spend up to tens of millions of dollars to help turn Texas Democratic officially launched today, announcing new leadership and a campaign website.
Could this be where the money for access to the WH is going? Obama has not stopped being an Alinsky Community Organizer instead of administering the nation.

If it works, how will you feel when 60%, possibly more, of your paycheck is taken?
It's already over 60% in Cali.

And the picture of all the kids working as activists for this, are the product of the public school and university system churning out socialists.
