I prefer Geno, but I trust Reid and Dorsey enough on that point.

Shit, I will still believe if they decide to trade back into Round 1 and get the QB they want.

The concept of bringing in a FA/retread like Alex Smith and focusing on fatties in the early rounds of the draft while nabbing a developmental guy in Round 4 or 5?

That's the type of stuff that would get ME back to the point where I post on this board ONLY about Royals and Mizzou and OT stuff, and follow the NFL only as a fantasy football owner (or, you know, the 2012 season).
This is a great post. I agree.

If we take a LT or DT, or sign Alex Smith, then by all means freak the **** out, but if you're going to throw away your Chiefs gear and quit on the franchise because we choose another QB (Wilson, Barkley, Glennon, etc) over Geno, then GTFO!

Hell I'm not the biggest Geno fan, but if we pick him at 1, I'll gladly support him because he's a Chief and Reid/Dorsey are smart guys.

we've only said this a million times on multiple threads (every QB thread)...for months...jesus I've been for damn near every QB on the board every year for a god damn decade

but the johnny come latelys have just got to lecture us....their ignorance is just so important we have to listen, no matter how much we beg for them to shut the **** up and read before posting...

Joeckel/Nassib combo would make me reconsider my Chiefs Fandom. I don't like either of those guys.

Therer were a few of us that weren't all in on Pioli when he was hired, but ge was alkost universally viewed as a home run.

He was the most sought after candidate over the prvious 2 or 3 years.

You and I, and a few others may not have liked it, but let's be honest and acknowledge that he did make the big hire.

And let's not forget that this whole argument began with the assertion that Clark is "cheap". Regardless of how his tenure played out in reality, Pioli was a highly sought-after candidate and Clark made him the highest paid GM in the league to come to KC. That's not cheap.
