Best Sci-Fi Movies of the last 5 Years

So 2008-2012 only...I'm trying to find some that I haven't seen.

The best for me are District 9, Star Trek, and...I can't even think of a third film worthy of getting my top nod.

Here is a great list of IMDB's top 100 Sci-Fi movies. Tons of great movies on the list, although ignore the rankings because they are pure garbage. Transformers at #5? Inception at #20? Rofl

That's not IMDB's list, I don't think. Just someone with an IMDB account that made a list.

I would definitely put Inception in my top 20. Hell, probably in my top 10.

Yeah, the rankings are questionable. Super 8 at #4?

But some good movies. Donnie Darko, loved that flick. My family didn't quite get it.

Gotcha. I thought you meant that Inception didn't belong in the top 20.

Thanks to this thread I just watched "Sunshine" for the first time.
Pretty good flick, I enjoyed it.

Reminded me a lot of "Sphere" and "Event Horizon".
