I've considered doing this for a long time but often figured I was the only one that cared. Kyle DeLexus' thread has shown me that's not the case.

If you have an appreciation for country music feel free to use this as a place to post videos, news, personal favorites lists, concert experiences and anything else country related. Old or new doesn't matter. Just have fun with it and ignore the haters.

Naturally I have to post the greatest country song of all time as a starter.

I think I linked "Lay it on the Line" from Bart Brow, but I agree with you. Some of his stuff is really good, but like a lot of others he has some meh stuff. Good overall Alt country band though. If you like Bart Crow you should check out Yarn if you haven't already.

My brother sent me this last night. I like it a lot, the only problem is it cuts off before its over and I can't find another that doesn't. Ugh.

I know I'm probably the biggest Jamey Johnson fanatic around here... hell probably around most places, heh. But for other fans here's this.

JJ's latest album is a tribute album to legendary country songwriter Hank Cochran called Living For A Song: A Tribute To Hank Cochran. JJ does duet covers of Hank classics. I'll post some later but here's a cool vid about the project.

JJ and Merle Haggard doing Patsey Clines "I Fall To Pieces" from the Cochran tribute album. Merle as a crooner is out of his comfort zone a bit it seems but I like it.

Listened to a KC local artist today while on treadmill. Andy Ross. Worth a listen. I think my favorite was "You aint seen Crazy"
