Any small engine guys here? Snowblower issue

Went out to fire up the snowblower, and it turned over briefly then died. I tried for a bit to start it to no avail. I let it sit for a while and tried again, and now it's leaking fuel from the muffler area - a small spray when I try to start it, and a small pool if I lay the blower back.

You can usually shake it around a but, tap it lightly with a rubber mallet, and if nothing else, take it apart... If it's gunked-up with old gas, it's a pretty common problem..

at least I have some time now since it appears the 3 to 5" they swore we were getting at 6pm will apparently now be less than an inch.
