Just a rumor from inside the Chiefs organization

I got this e-mail from someone I work with as we were discussing the Chiefs. As the thread title and the text indicates it is a rumor and hearsay. Oh well though because it continues to provide hope and evidence, even anecdotal as it is, that ***** will be gone.

One of my friends told me last night that his brother, who works in the Chiefs marketing department, said ***** hasn't been in the office the past two days which everyone found as weird. I guess there has been rumor that Hunt met with ***** and told him that he would not be retained at the end of the season on Sunday after the game and several of the marketing department said they saw ***** leaving a meeting with Hunt about 3 hours after the game in which it looked as if there had been a heated confrontation. All of this is hearsay but when you have employees start leaking stuff like this... you know it's inevitable that something is going on.

In the early days of Chiefsplanet, threads like these were the lifeblood of coming here. We got access to a lot of good information earlier than it was out. Media came here to see breaking stories.

Sometimes things don't pan out, sometimes they're obvious bullshit, but this thread was started in a manner that is clear that it's a rumor from someone else and provides an assessment of what that person saw, which ties in with current topics.

This OP shouldn't be getting the dipshit treatment for this thread. I don't want to see others discouraged from breaking information to us because some dumbfornicators give them the business every time.

I know for a fact that some QUALITY rumors (ones that ended up being true) got posted on other message boards first (or only) because of the treatment of rumors here.

That's sad, since that is what made this place great in the first few years.
