Chiefs Just a rumor from inside the Chiefs organization - Page 5

I got this e-mail from someone I work with as we were discussing the Chiefs. As the thread title and the text indicates it is a rumor and hearsay. Oh well though because it continues to provide hope and evidence, even anecdotal as it is, that ***** will be gone.

I guess there has been rumor that Hunt met with ***** and told him that he would not be retained at the end of the season on Sunday after the game and several of the marketing department said they saw ***** leaving a meeting with Hunt about 3 hours after the game in which it looked as if there had been a heated confrontation. All of this is hearsay but when you have employees start leaking stuff like this... you know it's inevitable that something is going on.

I always take the rumors on here with a grain of salt except Bad Guy's dude has never been wrong.

In the early days of Chiefsplanet, threads like these were the lifeblood of coming here. We got access to a lot of good information earlier than it was out. Media came here to see breaking stories.

Sometimes things don't pan out, sometimes they're obvious bullshit, but this thread was started in a manner that is clear that it's a rumor from someone else and provides an assessment of what that person saw, which ties in with current topics.

This OP shouldn't be getting the dipshit treatment for this thread. I don't want to see others discouraged from breaking information to us because some dumbfornicators give them the business every time.

Keep it coming.

Sometimes rumors are spot on, accurate information and the results don't pan out.

Maybe player x was in town for a visit as reported by poster Y, but team z offered him more money or he determined that ***** was a cock smoker.

Inside information is one of the things that has slipped the past few years and I think it is very specifically because of the way people are treated when they bring it to us. There are some very good inside sources here with solid inside information, and we don't hear much out of them anymore. I think there is a good reason for that.....but I would love to see that change about as much as anything else on CP.

Something serious is going on behind closed doors within this organization, I can't even imagine right now what the off-season brings... So much potential, the best jerseys imo in the NFL and all this going to waste over 2 greedy men.

Well, indirectly mocking it, by comparing it to insane threads in the past. Most likely in fun, but I'd hate for someone to not post something useful because they are in fear of getting ripped on.
