Just a rumor from inside the Chiefs organization

I got this e-mail from someone I work with as we were discussing the Chiefs. As the thread title and the text indicates it is a rumor and hearsay. Oh well though because it continues to provide hope and evidence, even anecdotal as it is, that ***** will be gone.

One of my friends told me last night that his brother, who works in the Chiefs marketing department, said ***** hasn't been in the office the past two days which everyone found as weird. I guess there has been rumor that Hunt met with ***** and told him that he would not be retained at the end of the season on Sunday after the game and several of the marketing department said they saw ***** leaving a meeting with Hunt about 3 hours after the game in which it looked as if there had been a heated confrontation. All of this is hearsay but when you have employees start leaking stuff like this... you know it's inevitable that something is going on.

I just want to also point out that my co-worker has spoken about knowing someone in the Chiefs marketing department for quite some time on separate occassions on unrelated topics so it is not as if he just made the part up about knowing someone in marketing there. At least I am confident that part is true. The rest, well, who knows.

Don't worry about it. This place was built on this kind of information. For some reason in the last few years, there's been a huge backlash against it.

I do too and I hope he is right and most importantly the witnesses. And even if this one incident isn't true, I still personally have no worries that ***** won't be gone.

Thanks! I just wanted to add that to point out that he wasn't just making this whole story up out of nowhere. One part is at least certainly true. I probably wouldn't have posted it if I hadn't previously known he knew someone there because things like that always look suspicious.
