I'm guessing it was Sunn O))). They did show a band member right when the song came on. Sounds like them

The song starts right when Stephen O'Malley comes on-screen. Right after him is a guitar player with short hair and beard - who is that guy? Because I think that might be it.

Maybe Dead Meadow?
HOF recently put out an official vid. Cheesy After Effects compositing but still entertaining. |

Definitely has that kind of feel to it, yes. I'm listening through some of their stuff now.
Gotta say this re-ignited a lot of old likes for me. Spent the morning listening to Brant Bjork's 99 solo album.

I LOVE the Sword! Saw them open for The Sons of Kyuss. Amazing show.
Here's a few to keep you busy for a bit. And I'll plug my friends band. Good stuff. |

First things first, I found out the tune I'm trying to find was WRITTEN FOR THE MOVIE by a couple of guys that call them ThunderLabs. Unfortunately, it's not available anywhere other than on the movie itself.
![]() Anyway, I made a list of bands from the movie to check out and today's selection was Om. Holy shit, I ended up going in a COMPLETELY different direction than I expected. You should check this one out: "Haqq al-Yaqin"

For those who don't know Om's lead singer Al Cisneros was also the lead singer from Sleep along with Matt Pike, now lead singer/guitar for High on Fire. |
