Yeah, Grey was ok, but just ok. To me, anyway.

I'm watching Shallow Hal.
I forgot how ****ing Hot Gwyneth Paltrow was back then.

Darkest Hour had to be one of the biggest, steaming piles of dogshit I've ever encountered in a movie. Seriously, nothing good about that movie.
John Carter was pretty dope though. I don't think he's the best actor but I like that Taylor Kitsch dude. Plus Princess Deja would get a long, strong dicking in that wedding dress. |

This is the first movie I ever saw with my girlfriend of 10 years. Saw this on our first date.

Just saw Madagascar 3. It was pretty damned enjoyable. Probably my favorite of the series.
Saw the "Rise of the Guardians" trailer as well. I hate to say it, but it looks pretty damned good. Take the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus, and the Sandman and give them a Neil Gaiman treatment.

Just finished Jeff, Who Lives at Home.
Very good. The ending is unexpected.

Should have never been cut.....but its funny in the context of the original film. The way they build it up only to have the worn out film jump cut right past it. Cruel tease Mr. Tarantino. : )

I tried to watch this with my gal pal tonight.. Pretty terrible.. I struggled to make it through an hour and decided to then go do something else. I can't imagine anything that happened in the last 23 minutes would've saved it, and if it did I would still deny it being a cool movie.
I wanted to like it and has hoping for some laughs and maybe fun nostalgic moments here and there, but it failed.

I watched Drive last night. It's pretty overrated I think, but it's still good.

I watched Safety Not Guaranteed. It was pretty good. It's pretty much what you think it would be if you're seen the trailer.

I watched a few movies I had never heard of on Netflix instant queue recently.
One was called The Rebound with Catherine Zeta-Jones (the reason I watched it) and that young twit from the National Treasure movies. It was a cute rom-com. Another was Take Me Home Tonight with Topher Grace and some super cute blonde chick. I half-watched the first quarter of the movie but from what I caught it was ok. Worth a watch if you have nothing better to do. Then I watched Dead Space: Aftermath. Apparently it's based on a video game. Never played it myself, but thought I'd check it out. It's weird, the movie starts off in present day with some super duper shittastic computer animation. Thankfully they did cartoon-animated flashbacks in a particular style that I find satisfying. Also worth a watch, I thought. |
