It's basically a miniframe1911 .380.
I compared it to the LCP, a Taurus acp, s&w bodyguard, a keltec and a walther. The Sig was more but the reviews were good, the gun shop guys spoke highly of them, and when the rubber met the road, it fit a lot better in my hand. It's more of a 31/2 finger grip instead of 2 for me on the others. I'm going to put some grips on it for comfort, but overall I'm very happy so far.

That said, I'll probably go with a Springfield. As for black rifles...we buy lowers and put our own together.

S&W makes a damn fine 1911,if not some of the best in the entire world IMO.Don't get me wrong I love my Springfield A1 loaded but the S&W's have really caught my eye as of late.I also have been checking out the Wilson Combat 1911's.

the first handgun I bought was a p94 .40, I've had it for longer than I'd care to admit now, but It's never given me a problem unless I ran cheap ammo through it and it was dirty....I've had issues with cheap ammo hanging up and jamming due to the casings if it wasn't clean. It was a good investment for what i needed at the time, and it's still in my close to the bed war chest.

The reviews at Bud's are overwhelmingly positive as well. Looks like you got yourself a fine pistol there, worth about $500.

$850 for what I posted. Not that high-dollar as the colt listed in the OP.

CDNN has them for $850, as well as the colt 6920 for $1100.

Hey, Kraus, do these guys have a physical location I can go visit? I like their prices and selection a lot.

They are somewhere down in Texas if I remember correctly. Not sure if they have an actual store.

I've bought a few rifles and pistols from CDNN, nice prices, no problems. Don't have any idea if there's a brick & mortar store you could visit in Texas. Nothing would surprise me. If you go to Texas for gun shopping, here's where I used to shop. I'd go in and 'wish' in here on the weekends, it was a few miles from my apt:
http://www.collectorsfirearms.com/ Grabbed a pretty sweet old shotgun recently. Had a model 11 Remington stolen from me back in '74, have always been watching for another good one to take it's place. These are the old Browning A5, sold with another label, for my purposes. John Browning (PBUH) churned out some of the finest guns, ever, and I've always shot well with this type of gun. Not fast, mind you, but well. I found one of the model 11's, with some of the prettiest walnut I've seen. Made in 1928 - she needs a repair to the safety for my peace of mind but is in fine shape otherwise. Anyway, getting the old girl makes ME happy. You kids and your kooky music!

Oooooohhh shootin thread and I'm about ready to post up pics of my AR build in a few days. Just need to get the sights in. *mostly* done. Personally I prefer to build up mine if I can baring a few cases.
My lower is build off a spikes billet lower, what I love on it is a ambi-bolt release. I love it, put a new mag in sight down, both hands still on gun trigger finger releases the bolt, thumb off the safety. Like the POF version. Picked up a geissele super dynamic trigger, was a little worried about the flat trigger at first but I really like the feel! Pricey but I really like it. ![]() Probably going to pick up an FN fiveSeven in a month or so and a 1911 para to build off of. To bad the PRK has it's head up it's ass or I'd just buy a frame....

The # 11 is a close copy of the Browning. Dont ever buy Browning a-5 parts thinking they will fit a Rem # 11 ,they wont. They are different guns to be sure. My favorite shotgun is the old rem#11 in 16 gauge made around 1920 |

My Dad ended up having to get a competition trigger group for his Springfield just to get a smooth consistent trigger pull.
