If there is, I am certainly not aware of it.

Does that truly look HD though?

What do you mean by "HD"? That's just the screen resolution. 1080, for example, just means a screen resolution of 1920×1080...

Lets put it this way, if Halo CE on the PC doesn't look as good on a big screen as Halo 3, then I don't consider it HD.

What was the first game to look "HD" to you? There's a constant improvement in graphics on the PC as new engines get developed. Halo 3, for example looks like an outdated piece of shit compared to Crysis on full settings running on a beastly PC with a good monitor.

OIC. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing HALO games have ever been good for was multiplayer. I never enjoyed any of the campaigns, especially the backtrack-fest that was HALO: Combat Evolved.

To each his own. I really enjoyed Combat Evolved outside of the library level. By far the best game in the series. Matter of fact, Halo CE was the reason I switched to console shooters. I suck on PC and console so I found I preferred console. heh

Playing HALO over LAN in the dorms is still my best gaming experience of all time, so I appreciate that game very much. No game has ever come close to providing the amount of fun that playing 4v4 CTF on Bloodgulch did.

The funny thing is that Halo 3 isn't actually a HD game, it's rendered at 1152×640. I'm not sure how high of a resolution you can use on the PC version of Halo CE, but it's definitely higher than 640p. Very few 360/Ps3 games are actually rendered in 1080p. And most of them are probably XBLA/PSN titles.

All it takes is practice, you probably just don't have enough time to play as much as those little 13 year old assholes do, having a family and a job and all that.

I never have time to play anymore. Maybe an hour per week if I am lucky. Hence why I have an ipod touch now. heh
