WOW Jimi Hendrix Special

Blew me away!

Just saw on Show Time, a Hendrix special, 2 months before he died. It was a "festival" in south Atlanta, Byron. The last of the great festivals...hippies everywhere, naked, pot smoking 1970.

I did not realize that he could make a guitar talk so much!! It was his soul coming outta the thing. After watching/hearing, and I do have the "greatest" Jimi CD, I didn't know how good he was. Watching him play, and humble, made me realize my lack of appreciation to the man. He didn't do many interviews....not the day where 'snapchat", Facebook etc existed.

Have looked a bit at his history. He was in Vietnam, not sure what branch. He was left handed and that his hands were so big that he could do things with the guitar that no one else could. While watching, dude looked like he was playing a kids toy!!

I don't know how much he was paid for that festival? But watching him, he was all about the crowd...fed off them..amazing. I was moved.

In the end, was it better that he died so young or be a Paul McCartney?

Is there anyone else that can/could play better with his soul?

No reason to post this, after watching the special, was wondering 'bout other peoples thoughts about Jimi that I over looked for all these years.

I just watched a documentary on Albert Einstein. Man, was he smart! I never realized just how smart he was! I thought he was just famous for his crazy hair and that poster of him sticking his tongue out, but man, did he come up with some crazy shit that, like, literally changed the world.

Buckethead is equal to if not greater than Jimi Hendrix masterful

Buckethead is in his own world though and beyond.

Love Buckethead he keeps putting out Pikes on a mind numbing rate can't fathom how he does it.

You want soul I don't know another player who gave his soul like Eddie Hazel

If Jimi Hendrix had lived longer, you'd see a lot more black guitarist these days, I'd wager.

Jimi was amazing.

Buckethead, while technically proficient, isn't near the master of transferring raw emotion into the sound of his guitar - for that, Jimi is without peer.

Eddie Hazel is waaaaay closer than Buckethead. Maggot Brain. The whole album.

Some people are like, "Mommy, What's a Funkadelic?"

If Jim Hendrix had lived, our society would be a better place for all, no question.

People like Hendrix, Lennon, Cobain were executed by the government (Illuminati) because they were the real movers and shakers, they were the ones the people responded to...

Mark David Chapman didn't pull the trigger.

It was the service elevator operator.

Jose Perdomo, an Anti-Castro Cuban with CIA ties to Bay of Pigs and Gulf of Tonkin just happened to be working the door at the Dakota that night.

That's who gave the order to shoot.

Since you obviously don't know shit about that, do you know what MKUltra was??

Inform yourself, lest ye find that you're drinking from the same trough that others have shat in, my fine lemming.
