IMO, even fun movies should be logically consistent. This one just isn't.

Heh, it's funny that you have a problem with Splinter learning karate from a book, but not the fact that a rat and turtles can learn karate in the first place??? The entire premise is incredibly dumb dude.

No, the problem I have with it is that it's an unnecessary change from the origin story in the comics, AND it eliminates how they come to hate Shredder. Of course it's stupid. But like I said - even things with a dumb premise can be logically consistent.

Not sure what you were expecting with another Bay summer flick.

Zero desire to see this.
Never saw the original. I'll never watch this crap, either. |

Silock brings up good points honestly. That said let's hope they improve and make the next film more fun. It was inconsistent...but I enjoyed it mostly.

Bay was involved but it was the Battle LA guy in charge....this movie reminded me of that one. Battle LA was terrible though...great effects but shit story and characters. Sure Bay can go full Bay or get someone else involved and maybe tmnt will be significantly improved

The most telling review I've seen yet was:
"You could replace the turtles with transformers and not notice the difference". Would those of you who saw it day this is accurate? |

No, Mikey, Raph and Donatello had more personality than any Transformer from the movies. Leo was the only disappointing one to me.
