Or you could also describe it as George Orwell meets Monty Python. |

Watched True Romance for the first time in several years last night, i'd forgotten what an excellent movie it is & i'm strangely convinced that not having Tarantino direct, actually made it better... i do get tired of his jumbled timelines.
What a cast... Slater, Arquette, Walken, Hopper, Oldman, Pitt, Jackson, Rapaport, Rubinek, Sizemore. Think i'll watch it again tonight. |

After reading your guys posts I remembered how much I enjoyed that movie and went and bought the DVD from Best Buy. Awesome.
The Dennis Hopper/Christopher Walken scene might be my favorite. Either that or the Gary Oldman scene. |

Just watched Zombieland on Netflix. What a surprising great funny movie. Woody Harrelson was A riot.

I will. Between Kickass and Zombieland, I was so surprised how good they were. That just doesn't happen very often at all. BTW yes Little Fockers does suck donkey balls, what a let down.

Unthinkable with Samuel L. Jackson can't go mutha f***** wrong with him.
This film has not registered on most peoples radar because it never released in theaters outside of a single festival showing due to problems with the production company going under and domestic distribution rights never being secured after it did. Unthinkable is a violent, intelligent, suspense "mystery" of sorts. How far is too far when it comes to saving millions of lives? Does morality go out the window? Is physical torture and disfigurement acceptable? Are the family/friends of suspects fair game? Great movie. |

So true and it stands the test of time like no virtually other movie I can think of right now. A similar movie that I get the same reaction from is "American Beauty". Simply incredible movie that you forget how good it is and why you loved it the first time.

Another one like that that came out around the same time was Natural Born Killers, but Stone really messed with the screenplay alot on that one. |
