Revolution is the one that really gets me. That show really got stronger as it went along, and was pretty entertaining. The second oddest one to me is Community. I admittedly am not all caught up on the newest episodes but I watch the hell out of it in syndication and laugh pretty hard. It must have really dropped off.

Upfronts are Network only, so far as I can tell.

I agree with some Revolution takes. That show was garbage it's first season and got renewed and now that it has gotten good it's done ? I guess I hope they wrap it up well. Also Sleepy Hollow is the dumbest thing I have ever seen on TV. And I like horror/sci-fi

I watched Revolution. I thought I was one of the few. A guilty pleasure, if you will. But it does just seem to go on and on and on......

Thats why when you watch shows you head on over to tvbythenumbers and after about 4-6 episodes you can tell if a show is going to get the axe. There are times when its much faster then that if they just completely bomb. There is also the rare occurrence that another network picks up the show. Its rare, but it has happened.

Disappointing that Friends with Better Lives was cancelled.
First episode was just OK, but it picked up and I laughed like hell. |

Loved Trophy Wife, but Burt became overused and annoying. He is much better when the (sub)plot isnt focused on him. Funny role player.
Goldbergs is the shit. His mom is my mom. Big blonde 80's hair. Track suits. Suburgatory was hit and miss most of its series. This season was mostly miss. Raising Hope was surprising good considering its creator jumped over to CBS to make a giant fart. I feel it went out on top. Enlisted was doomed before it started. Tossed on Friday nights, ran out of order and got no promotion. Never had a chance. (it was good) 2 more things: I am done with network dramas. There is so much filler that they use to stretch out a season for 24 episodes. You can miss chunks of episodes and still be caught up with the major storyline. Cable has it on point with 10-16 episodes for dramas. The whole 18-35 demo is important not because of spending power, but because of buying preference. If you are 45 and need a car, you will use your experience rather than ads to influence your purchase. Or if you have bought Ford your whole life, an ad wont change your mind. 18-35 is much more influenced with ads.

I take it you have never watched Person of Interest? That has a huge story arc with just enough small filler to not distract from the arc. I think they do a great job keeping it interesting for 22 eps. Arrow did this well too.

Actually I have tried to give Person of Interest a shot twice now. Twice, I have lost interest. (ba dum tish) Although, every episode seems important... in the last 10 minutes when they solve the plot of the week and extend the overall storyline further. The first season was very similar to Agents of SHIELD, albeit it was not nearly the dumpster fire the first half of the first season SHIELD was.
http://io9.com/5958702/how-to-get-in...ion-show-on-tv It seems like I could just watch the 1st and last 10 minutes of every POI episode and be just fine. Except for those every few episodes where the whole episode is devoted to the major storyline. (Like a cable show)
