I dunno. It happens in pretty much all of the niche threads (soccer, baseball, specific teams, etc.). I don't really understand it myself.

God, I can't wait to get this going. These past few weeks (lockout over, new GM/coach) have been like mouthwash for the nastiness that has been the lockout and the Chiefs shitty season.

So they've only scheduled in-conference games due to the shortened season? Good idea.

Yep - seems that way. It'll be a little sad to never see any of the Eastern-conference teams, but it makes sense to me to focus in on the in-conference teams.

We might see the Avs play one non-conference team.

I think with a 48 game schedule, it is smart to play just conference games. Get a truer conference champ.
