First game: Royals at Yankees.

Hosmer goes 5-for-5 with a HR and 3 RBI's.

Royals lose 9-5.

YAY PITCHING.

Gonna get it on payday. So its pretty good? Ive gotten everyone since its been out with the exeption of last years due to finances. How is hitting with the stick? Cant wait to play it.

It's the highest-rated SPORTS GAME (not just baseball game) the last 4 years in a row.

this year you can play the entire game with playstation Move if you want to, not just homerun derby. Though, be careful or you'll find yourself icing down your elbow after playing a video game.

Last year's game just collected dust for me. I've loved the franchise for a long time but have to decide if my love for baseball is just dying or if I'm just tired of playing baseball video games before I decide whether or not to purchase.

What's new this year?

I got 2011 and never played it...i kept just playing 2010. Probably pointless for me to get this one

I have 2011. I played it some, but not enough to justify buying 12.

Quick question since I'm not in the loop...does 2011 continue to get roster updates? Do the creators update the rosters to current day, or if I want that, do I have to do it all manually?

I need to break out my 2010. Although, it's hard for me beause I don't understand alot of baseball strategy so I have a bit of a challenge.

One thing I know for sure, I couldn't hit for crap. lol. I did that mode where you start off in the minors etc; was really fun.

MLB the Show and NBA 2k series are simply incredible sports games.
puts Madden to shame.

I loved 2010 so much i hardly touched 2011. Such a waste of money. I have multiple seasons on 2010 played. I wish i didnt buy 2011, 2012 looks sweet but i really gotta man up on the gaming. I bought uncharted 3 and watched a friend beat it, so that didnt get played. Got Mass Effect 2 and want 3, but decided i need to beat UC2 and ME2 first

Haven't bought The Show since 2009, so Im definitely getting this, especially since the Royals have Hosmer, Moose, etc...Probably pick it up later today.
