Rain Man ran the game. I think it was an old Avlon Hill game where you rolled dice to find out what happens at each stage of the mission. We all signed up for the game and Rain Man assigned us to squads and planes would roll the dice and transcribe the results of the missions in the thread. Then we would write letters out of our imaginations to add a little realism to the whole thing. It was a fun off season diversion until Rain Man abandoned us about halfway through the war. Some guys have been stuck in POW camps all this time.
