NPR's 100 Fav Song of 2012
This is worth making time for. Took me a few hours to sample all of the songs.

Jamey Johnson and Alison Kraus - Make the world go away - simply delicious.
Neal Young's Walk like a Giant is a favorite as well. Letterman appearance for Kraus and Johnson... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bu-hSTup6CQ Last edited by oldandslow; 12-05-2012 at 08:17 PM.. |

The Mynabirds, "Generals"
A call for unity wrapped in grinding Midwestern pop. Politics and pop rarely get along so well. "Get your warpaint on!" One of the better songs on what is my personal favorite album of the year. The Mynabirds are outstanding. Probably my favorite new band of the decade, so far. |
