I think he has pretty much admitted he phones it in. Seeing his movies as basically paychecks and excuses to hang out with his friends for a couple weeks.

Whats funny is, he made 'Funny People' which he was basically playing a variation of himself and was admitting his fortune was built on crap. Then he made 'Jack and Jill' a year or so later.

I mean, everyone realizes hes shoveling people crap, but if the public continues to eat it up, what should you do? Money is Money.

Hes like McDonalds

Yeah, but he's not going to be bankrolling his own films.

Actually, he does, as that is the role of a production company.

He has a distribution deal with Sony, who puts all of his films in theaters worldwide and also puts up 50% of the budget, including the actual film production and marketing.

Sandler is a shell of his former shelf. He had a nice little run there as a leading funnyman. Now he's just running on fumes.

But that's it. They are putting up 50% of the budget. That's a huge amount of risk they are assuming. Sandler isn't doing this solely on the back of his company.

Well, that's because he's got s production deal with Sony (although if he delivers losers, that won't happen much longer).

I know a little too much about this and KJ's situation for comfort but let's say that there are far, far, far too many "Yes Men" surrounding both.

I don't doubt that at all. I'm sure he's a nice guy, but I've always wanted Kevin James to get run over by a brush hog.
