Shortest path to the QB? Straight through the middle of the line. Where does Donald line up? In the middle of the line. What does that mean? He doesn't have to try to run around an elite OT but instead just has to slip past a less athletic OG. 4.6 speed in a DT is a hell of a lot scarier than 4.6 speed in a DE or Rush LB because the DT doesn't have to run the arc. Did you understand that?
To top it off, his technique, speed, athleticism, and power combo translates to the outside as well, he can threaten as an edge rusher but is far deadlier inside.
