First off, I assume you mean 24 Mbps (mega-bits, not mega-bytes).



I'd recommend unplugging your cable modem and removing the battery for a minimum of two minutes. Unplug the power from your wireless router as well.

After two minutes, replace the battery and plug in the modem. Once it's fully ready, power up the router. Once it's broadcasting a signal, re-check all devices for connectivity.
