I drove out to Napa a few years ago on a business trip, and I still remember the toll gate somewhere along the way. I can't remember how many lanes it had, but it was shocklingly huge. And when you paid and exited, there was a big massive row of stop lights, one for each lane, staggering when you could take off because 75 percent of the lanes went away in a quarter-mile. I don't think you could survive if you didn't cooperate.
