Caught the original John Wayne True Grit yesterday, and I have to say I'm glad that I saw the Coen's version first, because I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it as much knowing everything that was about to happen.

And I'm sure I'm jaded but the remake was about a thousand times better than the original flick.
