As much as I LOVE the original Dawn of the Dead, it was hard to imagine that I wouldn't hate the remake. I actually went into the movie boiling with hate. I hate remakes of classics that I love. I loved it though. So to turn me from someone dead set on HATING the movie to loving almost as much as the original...that's a good movie. They did a great job with it.

The Day of the Dead remake...not so much. However, I didn't think the original Day was all that great anyway. The only Romero zombie flicks I didn't really care for were Day and Survival. Love Night, Dawn, Diary, Land.

The Dawn remake surprised the shit outta me...went into it with a somewhat open mind and came out loving it.

The remake of Night is an underrated gem IMO...Tony Todd is so very good in it. I'll watch that movie any chance I get.
