You're just taking in too many calories.
I'm not trying to be that douche giving weight loss advice online, but just think about reducing your portion sizes. Eat whatever you'd normally eat, just less of it. You'll be hungry at first but that's OK. After a while the smaller portions will become more filling and you'll see the weight start to come off. You legitimately don't even need to set foot in a gym to lose weight.
