Dont forget about Goodell saying "Human error is a critical part of the NFL experience"...this was when he was asked about utilizing modern tech as an aid in better officiating.
Think about that quote for a minute...he's essentially saying "We like having officiating mistakes, it's the way it's always been. Having fairly called games is bad for the NFL experience"...the key word he used was "critical". What is critical about about a bad call?
That's ****ed up and makes no rational sense... unless there is an ulterior motive driving the absurdity.
Any rational and objective person would have to draw the conclusion that implementing modern tech would severely limit the control of games and expose it to further scrutiny...they wouldn't have the built in caveat of "officiating error" anymore...and wash it away with an apology letter the next week.
